That’s right, and it wasn’t on Mount Washington (or on Sugarloaf Kyle). Last week was a pretty big week for me so this week is planned to be fairly low key. I decided to do a pretty easy hike/run today to the snowhole in Petersburg, NY (basically on the boarder of NY VT and MA). It’s about a 3-4 mile hike in on rolling terrain with some pretty sweet views along the way. Eventually you arrive at hole that’s about 40-50 feet deep. I really didn’t expect there to be snow on June 24th but sure enough there was quite a bit of snow left. Down in the lowest part it was probably about 40 degrees. Anyway, this weekend I'm changing it up, going for a mini vacation to the Cape, should be a good time.
